Barry Ord Clarke guest Sim Fly Festival

Nato in Inghilterra, Barry Ord Clarke è un fotografo e scrittore apprezzato in tutto il mondo. Il suo lavoro come fotografo lo ha portato in oltre 40 paesi e 4 continenti. Contribuisce regolarmente con numerose riviste di pesca internazionali. Ha scritto o contribuito a oltre 35 libri sulla costruzione. Ha vinto medaglie in alcune delle più prestigiose gare di costruzione e le sue mosche si trovano persino nella collezione del Fly Fisher Club di Londra e nella Masters Catskill fly collection in USA. Ha appena finito di aggiornare il suo Fluemønsterlexicon e negli scorsi 3 anni ha lavorato insieme a Marc Petitjean sul suo nuovo libro sul CDC. Negli ultimi 22 anni ha vissuto il Norvegia dove lavora come fotografo professionista e consulente per la Mustad. Il suo blog sul fly tying www.thefeatherbender.com ha oltre 6000 followers e circa 200 visitatori per giorno. Sta attualmente lavorando al suo nuovo libro “The Ultimate guide to tying and techniques with deer hair”. Barry partecipa regolarmente a circa 15 fiere internazionali dove offre dimostrazioni sul fly tying.

Born in England, Barry Ord Clarke is an internationally acclaimed and much published photographer and writer. His work as a fly fishing photographer has taken him to over 40 different countries and 4 continents. He is a regular contributor to numerous fishing magazines world wide. He has written, Co written and contributed to more than 35 books about fly tying. He has won medals in some of the worlds most prestigious fly tying competitions, and his own flies can be seen in the legendary ‘Fly fishers club’ collection in London and the ‘Catskill master fly tyer collection’ in the United States. He has just finished updating the ‘Fluemønsterlexicon’ and for the past three years has been working closely with Marc Petitjean on his definitive book on tying with CdC.
For the past 22 years he has lived in Norway where he works as a professional photographer and a fly tying consultant for The Mustad Hook Company. Barry’s fly tying blog www.thefeatherbender.com has over 6000 followers and over 2000 visitors per day.
He is currently working on his new book ‘The Ultimate guide to tying and techniques with deer hair’. Barry also does fly tying demos at approximately 15 international fly fairs and shows each year.
